The following are some of the extracurricular activities we undertake at our fantastic school:

Hurling:

Roinn D League, Under 11 Roinn D, Cup Competition

(Approximately 10 games in total – mixture of during and after school. Involves 4th, 5th and 6th. Generally from March to June)

Basketball:

(Girls and Boys Competitions. Last Term. 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Classes)

Soccer:

Jack Kennedy Memorial Competition.

(Boys and Girls. Generally involves 5th and 6th and runs in May to June. Games are played over one day and extra days if they progress, which our girls did last year/Summer 2018. During school time).

FAI 5-A-Side Soccer Blitz.

(Boys and Girls. 5th and 6th Classes. One day blitz and extra days if they progress. During school time.)

FAI Futsal.

(3rd and 4th Classes. November/December. One day blitz. During school time.)

Willie Moran Memorial Tournament.

(Boys and Girls Competitions. 5th and 6th Classes. Last Term. During school time.)

AIMS Choral Festival:

(All pupils in 5th and 6th Classes. National Choral Singing Competition. During school time.)

Christmas Carol/Nativity Service:

Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st Class and 2 Class every second year in the Church.

School Concert:

3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Classes every other year in the Parish Hall.

Piano Lessons and Guitar Lessons ongoing all year and still available in the school. (Should anybody request lessons on any other instrument, we will endeavour to locate a teacher).

Yoga Classes are also available after school for both pupils and parents.

In addition to all of the above listed, we also hope to squeeze in the following next year…

Schools’ Athletics:

(1st – 6th Classes. Term 1 and again in Term 2. Representatives from each class)
